Big Mamma

Big Mamma charts the Outcaster through uncharted space, serving both steady guidance and 4-course meals to her crew.
Silk

Nervous but determined, Silk’s earnest energy and persistence inspire the team as she proves herself aboard the Outcaster.
The Outcaster
Type: Modified exploration and repair vessel, repurposed for diverse missions (rescue, reconnaissance, and delivery). Not top-tier in speed or firepower but equipped with advanced tools for problem-solving and survival.

EPISODES
HOW WE USE AI
Outcaster Radio was created, above all, to build a community. The story, characters, universe, and artwork are all crafted by talented artists, screenwriters, and audio/visual designers.
For Season 1, as an experiment, we used AI to assist with scripts, voices, video, and music. This exploration allowed us to maximize the efforts of our small team, push creative boundaries, and scale up our project.
The truth is, as artists ourselves, we’re still figuring out how we feel about AI in all capacities. As the project grows, we’ll share more about our individual processes and personal perspectives.
In addition to welcoming fellow Outcasters into the fold, Season 1 is an informal casting call and fundraiser. For Season 2, we hope to have the budget to feature musicians, voice actors, illustrators, and animators. But before anything else, we want to pay fair wages. So first—let us sell a million Outcaster t-shirts and a few dozen anti-gravity Crazy Chapman mugs (patent pending).
